The Tegu Imager family consist of high performance cost-effective multispectral high-resolution payloads using advanced sensors and optics with space heritage. The imager is based on component level heritage designs, multi-mission experience of the design team and stringent space environmental qualification testing according to international standards.
The Tegu Imagers each contain in-flight configurable spectral bands enabling optimization of system performance per mission. The imager product family achieves high radiometric performance ratios (SNR) that can be balanced in-flight with the mission required spectral band combination and resolvability quality (MTF) of the image products.
The Tegu Imager is designed to operate in orbit heights between 500-700km. The imager has effective panchromatic resolution of 2m at 500km altitude and multispectral resolution of 4m (using binning techniques), with a swath of 15km. The imager typically has a panchromatic band in addition to the 3-10 multispectral bands.
